PowPowGames started in 2009. It all started when Mathieu, the programmer of PowPowGames developped by himself an action side scroller, Rocket Boy. Seeing a game with potential, but with “programmer art”, Maxime contacted Mathieu and introduced himself as a designer wanting to make video games.

Soon after, the team started working on what we call a proper finish to Rocket Boy, Rocket Boy 2D. The game is much more than the first, introducing physics, parallax scrolling, a RPG way of evolving in the game, and much much more.

Now planning to create more games on the iPhone OS, PowPowGames is one of the only iPhone game development teams in Quebec, french part of Canada.
